We all understand that there is no way or no desire to keep any of the artworks in the street as sacred or permanent, but surely these guys don’t really think they have improved the site? If so they are truly deluded.
Is this another example of the permit system causing more problems than it solves? Yes, there is a permit on this wall …but it is for specific artworks by specific artists, and with the permission of the building owner. Not (as is the widely held view) for any crap to be put up by anyone who can afford to buy a can of paint!
