Recently the Southbank Residents Group has been in discussions with the Docklands Community Association and Eastenders about the recently drafted Metropolitan Planning Strategy. It’s a discussion paper that has been released by the State Government to help shape Melbourne and Victoria’s planning & development future for the next 40 years.
The draft paper is now out for public consultation and feedback. It is incredibly important that you are informed about the strategy and have the opportunity to make comment on it. With this in mind, we have arranged a free community forum for all City of Melbourne residents. Presenters from the Department of Planning and Community Development will give a one hour presentation about the planning strategy. This will then be followed by a question and answer session, where you have the opportunity to seek further information about the plan.
Date: Tuesday 19 March Time: 6pm-730pm
Venue: Yarra Room, Level 2, Melbourne Town Hall, Swanston Street
To better manage seating arrangements, we would appreciate it if you could simply RSVP by email to firstname.lastname@example.org .’
